Stuart Lancaster... an inspiration to English Rugby.
Two crucial player development roles.
Paul and Stuart both ended up with elite player development roles for their national unions, resulting in them meeting up again at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand last October to catch up with each other and compare notes.
They discussed future potential career moves. Paul indicated his desire to move back to Northern Ireland to help start thinkTASC and Stuart, his desire to coach at the top level if an opportunity arose!
Stuart asked Paul to present at the annual RFU Elite Player Development Conference in January 2012 on performance management, prior to the Six Nations starting and his role as Interim Head Coach. Following England’s cultural change and successful performances Stuart was appointed last week to the full time Head Coach position through to the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England, which is well deserved and a fantastic opportunity.
Paul and the rest of the team at thinkTASC wish him the best of luck in his new role.
